![]() If Hula Hut sounds familiar, it’s the only location beside the one on Town Lake in Austin and is everything you love about that place without the wait. The Draw: Yes, this is a Frisco-based Tex-Mex list and we’ve included a Hawaiian-Mex place in Little Elm. The Drink: Try the Sangria, especially during their all day happy hour Monday-Thursday. Like many, you’ll attempt to replicate the bean dip after googling “Gloria’s bean dip”, but nothing can replace enjoying it on their patio. The Scoop: You have not lived until you have had their black bean dip. Just order another margarita and get comfortable in this Tex-Mex/Salvadoran haven. Between the setting sun, the pond, the stone longhorns, and children’s laughter, you’ll quickly learn why this is a regular Frisco go-to. It’s written into your home contract that you cannot claim you live in Frisco until you’ve sat on the patio for a dinner. Treat yourself because you’re at home in Ernesto’s and you totally deserve it. The Drink: Go for the top shelf margarita. Oh, and feel free to ask for a bowl instead of a cup of salsa – don’t be shy. As they’ve grown, they’ve managed to keep the at-home vibe. The Scoop: The Frisco location is one of five locations that originally opened in Pilot Point in 2004. Ernesto’s perfectly balances Mexican specialties and Tex-Mex favorites while serving up home-style cooking in a welcoming atmosphere. The Draw: The warm fire-roasted salsa, queso fundido, fajitas, and enchiladas are solid go-to options at Ernesto’s. If they offer you a shot of tequila, accept the shot and dance. The Drink: If you sit at the bar, the bartenders are really nice and will encourage you to stay and dance. Dance the night away as the DJ takes requests and you get the chance to dance to your heart’s content to everything from Como La Flor to Despacito. ![]() The Scoop: After dinner on Friday and Saturday nights, follow the sound of salsa, merengue and 90’s Spanish music emanating from the back room. The Draw: It’s in a great location and a perfect place to grab some grub before heading to a professional soccer game. From Margarita Monday to Sangria Sunday, there’s something for everyone in Frisco. It’s time for you to get up, get out and get to know this regional culinary style. As Frisco grows, so does the indoctrination of newcomers into the serious cuisine of Tex-Mex.ĭon’t underestimate the unifying power of Tex-Mex. However, Tex-Mex is not meant to divide, it’s here to unify us in its cheesy, spicy goodness. (Don’t even get me started on the heated debate I overheard over margaritas regarding housemade versus homemade tortillas…) While one person might judge a restaurant by its margaritas, another will debate the merits of warm versus cold salsa.Īnother might refuse to grab Tex-Mex if there isn’t someone there making tortillas by hand. Everyone has their own criteria for excellent Tex-Mex. ![]()

Attach a wire to the terminal (check the bottom of the screen for the specific button necessary), then attach the other end to whatever device you want the terminal to control. In a long overdue move, the Sole Survivor now gets to build up his own shiny vault in Fallout 4 (complete with horrifyingly unethical experiments) thanks to the Vault-Tec Workshop DLC. I recommend putting in a generator next to this area that at least produces five units of energy. An early description of the DLC indicates that you will be able to change the appearance of settlers using the barber chair or surgery chair, but sadly. Place it somewhere near whatever object you are trying to control and power it up. It is then the second option in this menu, right after the Settlement Beacon. To build it, just open up the workshop menu then navigate to Power and Miscellaneous. One of these is the terminal, which you have to build to manipulate the mechanical bike that you are using for your tests. Most of them will appear in the “Special” area of the workshop menu, but a few are outside of it. These will require a few different things to be built. So, here’s our guide on how to build and use a terminal in Fallout 4 Vault-Tec Workshop.Ībout halfway through the Vault-Tec Workshop missions you’ll begin actually running tests on your vault dwellers. ![]() We’re here to help though, and one mission could be tough, just because its requirements are a bit hidden away in the workshop menu. ![]() Those who’ve spent dozens of hours building up their settlements will likely breeze through the new DLC, Fallout 4 Vault-Tec Workshop, but others could struggle with a few of the requirements that it asks of the player. ![]() However, the mechanic is one of those easy to learn, but hard to master style elements that has a lot of hidden depth throughout. If you’ve been playing Fallout 4 for a while then you’re probably well familiar with its workshop feature. ![]() ![]() I'm not saying this is true, just my opinion on what's going on, but if it is true, this is a dirty-a$$ tactic they're using to pull in more people to buy SE4. So what they do is release an update that crashes the game within a certain time interval and BAM! Game becomes unplayable, time to upgrade to SE4! Yea, I know, Illuminati stuff but hear me out: Like I said before, they want SE4 to get as much of the highlight as possible so they could just 'force' people to buy it (because SE3 no longer works anymore). Errors range from poor performance to crashes. Now call me crazy, or call this a conspiracy theory, but I think that the reason for all these "sudden" crashes lately, for a lot of people, are due to an update that's doing this on purpose. Sniper Elite 4 is already hitting those high-marks for its engaging WW2 sandbox action, but some early adopters are experiencing problems on the PC. ![]() ![]() With the release of SE4, it's only obvious that they want all the focus on THAT game, as new content for SE3 will most likely no longer be released. As most of us have recently started noticing an increase number of crashes while playing this game, seemingly 'out of the blue', I would like to say what I think causes these crashes. ![]() ![]() ![]() When they arrive, they find an abandoned mall. There are PvP lobbies, 'proper' race tracks (even including a slightly stylised version of Laguna Seca), endurance events to tackle. And extra events are drip-fed into the game by Ubisoft every few days. There is stuff hidden out there, like wrecked cars to piece back together. Even after playing for two weeks and finishing the story, my map still has some 50% covered up in pixelly fog (you can see it down there). ![]() The extra element of competition and/or co-operation does add to the experience, adding tactical elements to takedown missions and even races, as you act as a wingman for your mate in first place. This works really nicely and at present there are a reasonable number of people who will join in. You can invite your crewmembers to join in missions (but only if they've unlocked the same one by their point in the story) and, if you don't have a crew active, you can invite random players in the immediate vicinity with a single button press instead. Before every event, you get the choice to either play solo, or with fellow human beings. This isn't like Driveclub – the single-player experience could be released alone and it would still be a good game. Subsequently, it's incredibly frustrating when your internet connection drops out and you are unable to continue playing the story because you're sent to the title screen until further notice. And while you can create a four-car crew with online companions, there is very little emphasis on the online aspect. You do build up a crew of scripted characters as you progress, but you mostly just hear them over the radio. The name implies plurality, not the 'one man and his car against the world' that makes up so much of the story mode. Fortunately, whenever it starts to feel tired, pressing on with the story will keep the scenery changing and the fun coming.īy this point, you may well be wondering why it's called 'The Crew'. see the boxout for more on that), truly completing everything is a mammoth task that will take well over 100 hours. This game world is huge and with every event graded from bronze to gold (well. There are slalom events, increasingly narrow gates to navigate at speed, jumps to perform, icons to hit and times to beat, but they're the same in every city, which means it can feel like you're just going through the motions after a while. There is an abundance of things to do, with challenges everywhere you look. And seeing the interior light up green as you pass traffic lights is awesome. I wholly recommend you play the game from the in-car viewpoint because it's so much more dramatic. ![]() Different models of licensed cars are available and all have their own handling traits. There are some driving assists switched on by default, but you can switch them all off and revel in wheelspin, fishtailing and understeer. The cities are just too empty to feel alive.Īt least the car handling is feisty. You never see anything like the jam-packed city scenes of the intro sequence, so it only feels like a real world when you're up in the hills, driving through forests. And when you travel to San Francisco prematurely and realise it's another recognisable but ultimately empty facsimile of the real thing, disappointment starts to set in. Once they're open, the surprise has gone. Sadly this is a bit like opening your presents before Christmas. However, while the story gradually introduces you to new cities at an amazingly slow rate (did I mention this is a very big game?), you are soon able to catch a freight train to a new city.
